Chef Henry Eng is the chef/owner of number5kitchen, a family-owned and -operated restaurant in San Carlos. His commitment to using farm-fresh produce from regenerative farms, meat from local ranchers, and seafood from sustainable purveyors ensures that every dish is bursting with flavor and nutrition, while doing our small part as a global citizen.
Through his sophisticated and eclectic cooking style, his life journeys shine in his dishes and are influenced by his upbringing in Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, London, and Singapore.
